How are the Corallina placemats made? Many people ask us and it’s a pleasure for us to answer! Let’s start with a fact: wood fiber and cork, no plastic! Our placemats, coasters and bottle-coaster come from the strength of wood and the elegance of cork (which also makes them non-slip!). Then we proceed to a simple lacquering to draw and give life to the many models we have. The game is done! Does it seem too simple? Well, it is no secret that beautiful things are often the simplest but don’t forget: they are our artisans that make them unique and know all the secrets to have quality, beauty and uniqueness of each piece. Each plate is followed by the cut of the wood to the final packaging. It passes through numerous quality checks and is examined in our laboratories to receive, if everything runs smoothly, the stamp “Handmade la Corallina Firenze”.
