However, there are some small guidelines that you can follow, it being understood that the last word belongs to the emotion you want to convey once you enter the house. The right lampshade can really change the look of your room and even transform the base on which it is placed into a true object of art and design.

The first step is undoubtedly the style. What kind of furniture do you like? Floral? Geometric? Animal? Or do you prefer the classic and orderly colored stripes? Are you looking for an oriental style that recalls oriental flavors? Or do you prefer the colors of the sea?
Of course, to start we always suggest to immerse yourself in the context, to rediscover the objects that surround our rooms and also the outdoor spaces.

Then we can delve into the shape: the cylinder or the truncated cone? Much depends on the shape of the base on which we want to place our lampshade. If it is spherical, opt for the cylinder, otherwise the truncated cone can also fit. For our ceilings, however, no rules! It is your taste that must always prevail.

Finally, the size: each lampshade, especially if it is to be placed on a base, must be “proportionate”. We at Corallina recommend a size that is no more than 2/3 of the base in order to have a harmonious piece of furniture
